Booking

After you complete your booking, you will receive an automated email. After that I will confirm the booking with you. It would be rare, but if somehow you receive no confirmation from me within 24 hours, something may have gone wrong. Please send me an email or WhatsApp message and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

 

Payments

If you haven’t paid by credit/debit card or PayPal you can effect payment at the end of the tour.

 

Changes

You may change or reschedule your booking. You need to notify this at least 24 hours before the start of the tour.

 

Cancellations/refunds

If you have paid and you need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, you can. A full refund will be processed and paid as promptly as possible. If your booking is part of an organized tour, arranged by your travel agency, refunds are affected by the type of contract I have with that particular agency.

If somehow I cannot do the tour (sickness or accident) I will notify you and you will receive a full refund. This has never happened in twelve years of doing tours.

If there is extreme weather, making it not safe to do the tour, I will try to reschedule the tour. If that is not convenient for you, you have the option to cancel and you will receive a full refund.

 

Health

It is each individual’s responsibility to decide whether to join a tour. Porto is not a flat city, so here and there will be some parts that go up- and downhill. This is normally not extremely demanding, but if you have a particular health issue you may want to reconsider. It may be worth mentioning most tours are not suitable for wheelchairs.
