Porto By Night is a tour designed to capture the beauty of Porto after sunset. The tour's start time varies to ensure we shoot during the most captivating lighting conditions, as the city transitions from dusk to night. As the light fades, you'll learn to adjust your camera settings, mastering the art of twilight and nighttime photography.

The tour starts on the riverside on the Gaia side. The exact location will be revealed after the booking. We'll begin with tripod photography, where I’ll assess your skill level and provide guidance on camera setup for optimal results. Using a tripod, we’ll focus on identifying light sources, choosing the best composition, shooting panoramic views, and creating HDR images to highlight both shadows and highlights.

On this tour you can use a smartphone too, except you won’t be able to do tripod photography. You will however see how it is done and even with a smartphone you can control the light. If everybody shoots with a smartphone, we skip the tripod part. At the end you know everything about becoming an expert in low light photography in Porto, or wherever you go.

To ensure everybody has a tripod, the maximum amount of people with a “real”camera is three. If all you have is a smartphone and you find the tour is fully booked, please contact me. You may still be able to join.
